As someone who has written for various sites right, I am only too aware of
the deep need felt by Western white men for an identity and community.
Indeed, these things are basic human needs such as Maslow pointed out in
his famous "hierarchy of needs" - needs that I felt as long as I can
remember. The problem is: we seek fulfillment in all the wrong places.
Mistaken identity
Sports teams, whatever little they really represent the local population,
are the most common display and horribly sad about it. Seeing grown men
paint themselves, spiritual, vehemently fight with other teams and weep
bitterly loss would make sense if it were a ritual for about a common myth
or metaphysical belief that bound together to a certain group a
subconscious level. But this is most often seen at football matches -
children play glorified. Such is the pathetically desperate need of Western
man for a cultural identity.
When looking at minority communities, welcomed in Western countries with
large remarkable ease and a more remarkable number, the reason for our lack
of European communities become even clearer. "Muslims need to integrate,"
civic nationalism insists without thinking. «Embed what? They must think as
they lip consumer we call our culture. Nevertheless, the licentious West
invites more of these young men a more cohesive group, with our cultural
vacuum.
Those who complain of a lack of integration should go to a church, or do
something to build their own communities. After all, if our civilization
lacks something, it is our badly lack the very cultural technology Muslims
have yet. In this poor condition, all complaints to the fall of the state
in the deaf ears; its coercive power follows the path of least resistance,
which falls on weak majorities, white (yet). We are an easy target and
beneficial.
Of course, this begs the question: If even our own politicians refuse to
protect us adequately, how can we expect other civilizations to treat us? I
support the irresponsible failure by our people to develop and maintain
strong community institutions only because of the inevitable terrorist
attacks in the West.
Even more sad, after the attacks on the now commonplace bomb, knives, etc.,
you see the soulless Westerner trying desperately to find his heart rate -
a sign of life in their civilization, anything to hang their value system
on unsound:
The right to look patriotism, but also must be based on something. A
superior people, perhaps? The British, the Germans and now the
Scandinavians have all tried it, one way or another, but they all ignored
the dangers of our too individualistic tendencies when not bound by an
absolute belief, objective and transcendent.
The left eyes to love, but ... what is love? Have I missed the history
lesson when humanity was inherently good? Resources are now less rare, of
course, allowing enough peace to the leftists of the middle class to forget
the bestial nature of man; Yet one can not describe the West as a beacon of
love in the world. Our hyper-individualized society knows only to go and
the workplace, cafes and indistinguishable house; personalism and community
are practically disappeared here.
The thing we all seek, which was replaced (left and right) by the state, is
Christianity.
Will probably stop reading here identity. Race is first and foremost to
preserve Western civilization in their estimation. What they fail to
understand is that you have to have the whole package. Of course, ethnic
homogeneity is of vital importance to the preservation of a high trust
society, which is important for the markets, the rule of law and other
Western institution that you might care to mention. Of course! But is that
all it takes to maintain unity between Europeans?
Either I missed yet another history lesson or Europeans have always been a
danger to the other because of our individualistic psychology - generally
above average in the psychopath scale. Pagan Rome was the unit? Not
durable; their statism, adopted in part of the Middle East, allowed too
extensive for the irresponsibility of the political class.
The proverbial ring of power could resist by plutocrats, especially not
after the Renaissance and the Reformation, when the appropriate States
trained in Northern Europe and all imaginable institutions have become
central as a means of control. Welcome to modern Europe.
How can we save Europe?
The EU tried unsuccessfully to unite Europe under the modern system without
soul, the centralized statism. But it is currently failing and, indeed, can
never succeed because it works in fundamental opposition to human nature;
the nature of Europeans to be more precise. Pope John Paul II called on the
EU to recognize its Christian heritage, but this was ignored and, ten years
later, the EU began to unravel. Yet, over the greatest periods of
decentralization in Europe, it was the unifying creed of Christianity which
not only united the continent of Europe and the mosaic of communities,
guilds, universities, etc., etc., that compose it.
It should be noted by all identities and made a matter of extensive study,
the Church (unlike the super tolerant paganism) was able to ensure cultural
homogeneity in the regions, providing peaceful trade relations legitimate
through a diverse Europe, while also celebrating and defending the
government and volunteers distributed systems, individualist institutions
for us natural. It was this system, before the rise of nation-states, which
saw Europeans identify themselves as brothers, especially the nobility. The
differences could be put aside to deal with the common enemies and preserve
such a common identity.
Just look at Eastern Europe! They are "living proof that defense possible,"
as Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said, stating that they "will not change their
identity" in the face of the EU, which Poland, Hungary and the Republic
Czech to the Court of justice 'for not accepting Muslim migrants. What is
this identity?
According to Orban, "European identity is rooted in Christianity." As
Professor Ricardo Duchesne has shown in his article gloss of the same name,
Christianity is a Hellenistic religion and Western civilization is
Christian. Therefore, it seems that many new problems now look in front of
people right and Christian is the indivisible nature of Christian and
European identity. As Belloc said, "Faith is Europe and Europe is faith. "

If we Westerners want our identity back, we must embrace its entirety and
learn the lesson of the Eastern Europeans, who have risen from the ashes of
communism, know its value. We can not currently replace the vital cultural
technology of religion. Civilizations can not and will not work without it.
Therefore, it is a monumental forgetfulness, ideological coercion or mental
impairment that could cause to do so. More than that, we should revisit
this old institution that built our civilization in search of the soul of
our people, but not only on practicality. Our benches are empty, as both
the pleasures of our civilization; rediscover giving the Europeans not only
their identity but their zeal for her.
