3 simple steps to overcome temptation

Peace, grace and mercy to all of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For those of you looking to strengthen your faith in his back to the
worldly temptation, I am writing to you today with a simple 3-step system
you can use to stop these distractions dead in their tracks .
As you will see, each step of this system is clearly defined in Scripture
as a perfect remedy to put on the armor of God against the attacks of the
enemy, whose sole purpose is to prevent you from knowing Christ. Remember,
the devil does not need to win the cult; it needs not only worship God.
If the enemy can reduce your attention on God by requiring you to place it
on the accumulation of wealth without spirit, occult, or indulgence in
casual sex, that's as much a victory for him, as you learn to draw
pentagrams on your walls. Thus, today the article describes how to catch
these attacks when they re & # 8211 occur, and stop before you find you
indulge in sin.

Remember that you are reading this article that the enemy knows your
private and personal buttons to what is most likely to lead you astray. It
was much longer than mankind; as such, he is already familiar with our
weaknesses and our most powerful defects.
Even more insidiously, he and his minions are intimately familiar with the
flaws and weaknesses of each man and woman on this earth & # 8211; and like
a good con man, he knows exactly how to present and its offerings to better
seduce you with these weaknesses.
Before continuing, let me emphasize that I am aware that some people like
to read articles like this and immediately look for flaws in the writer, as
a way of refuting & # 8221; the truth of what he says. So let me save you
time and energy; I am an imperfect man and never pretend otherwise.
But having turned their backs on worldliness to seek a relationship with
God, I found extremely powerful ways to catch these flaws in the action
before it can turn into sinful behavior.
So with the caveat that I am not successful with 100% of the time (it
should only true perfection never expected realistically) I would now like
to share with you some simple and scriptural tools that will help you
succeed in your efforts more often than not.
1. Recognize when you feel Forced To sin

We read in James 1:14 that every man is tempted when he is drawn to his own
desires, and won & # 8221.
So we can see the apostle Jacques (brother of Jesus) explains that sin
begins in your own mind and heart, before it ever manifests itself outward
behavior. When we allow ourselves to fan the flames of desire, whether it's
the desire for a more sophisticated car than our neighbor or the desire to
own an attractive woman sexually, we & # 8221 be attracted; and will soon
lured away & # 8221; unless we learn how to reverse the process.
Thus, the first step of this system is to catch the desire to start burning
in your heart and mind. This can take two forms; or you find yourself
thinking I really want or feel the pull of the stress of owning.
Whether you become aware of your own desire through your thoughts or your
feelings, you must take your own instincts lower in the process of their
beginning to take hold of you. The content of your heart and mind is as
important as your behavior to the outside; This is why our Lord said in the
book of Matthew that whoever looks at a woman lustfully has already
committed adultery with her in his heart and # 8221.
Once you have recognized the desire to own a thing in the world, you can
stop it boiling desire more by moving to the second stage of the process.
2. Pray for the issuance of desire

One of the most important steps on the path to Christian development, and
something I mentioned in my article on celibacy, is the awareness that
human beings are quite helpless against the dark spirits world. They are
older than us, they are stronger than us, and we are relatively powerless
to fight against their influence without wearing the armor of God.
Fortunately, this armor is available to all believers and can actually
protect you from their attacks. That is why we read in 1 John 4: 4 that he
who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Remember that God gave Jesus authority over all creation & # 8211; and that
the creation includes all angels and demons that surround us constantly.
They are powerless against his name, and against his authority.
Therefore, once you have taken the desire of the world begins to burn in
your mind or heart, the next step is that you must begin to sincerely pray
for help. Jesus shows how to pray in the Sermon on the Mount in the book of
Matthew, invoking God's help and saying YOUR WILL BE DONE & # 8221.
This theme is Jesus demonstrates once again in the Book of Luke when he
prayed, Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; but not my will
but yours be done & # 8221.
The key takeaway is that our desires come from our desire and our basic
instincts and; they are strictly opposed to the Holy Will of God the Father
in Heaven. Jesus prays as he does because he knows he can not overcome the
suffering of earthly life by his own will and power; It must invoke God's
help and pray to God s will replace his.
Two pillars hold the prayers of Christ: that of humility and submission. He
has the humility to recognize his own relative powerlessness in relation to
God, and he is ready to submit his own will to live God s instead.
Here is how you should also pray; first recognition of sin constraint, then
immediately invoke God's help to overcome before they can take hold within
you and cause you to act on it. Be humble enough to not try & # 8221
bulldozer; your way through it on your own will; is as a & # 8221 Dry
impaired state; whose existence now, at this time is nothing but the
struggle.
If you try, you will probably find the same stress speak again shortly
after. It can be the same desire, or that pent-up energy may seek to
express themselves through a different outlet sin instead.
Either way, you must have the humility and submission to pray for God's
help to crush the desire and the restoration of your heart and mind pure
that he wants them to be.
3. You must believe that God has heard your call

Prayer without faith is like rock music without guitar solo; the structure
is there, but the soul is not. Thus, the importance of authentic faith can
not be overestimated.
In the book of Mark, Jesus explains that not only faith in God's power to
prayer at work, but he even gives us actionable instructions on how we can
use this information to our great spiritual benefit. We read the following
in chapter 11, verse 24.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have
received it, and it will be yours & # 8221.
While many New Age seducers like to take this line out of context, it is
important to remember that Jesus speaks to pray for spiritual victory & #
8212; not a fancy new car. He's also constantly ask for his prayers
answered if it & # 8217 God, the will.
With this powerful line, Jesus gives us instruction that our faith in God
must be so absolute that we must believe that God heard us; we must believe
that God has answered; and our demand then materializes accordingly.
As gratitude to God is an important principle in this way, it follows that
we must thank God to provide the answer to our prayer & # 8211; before it
materialized & # 8211; having full faith in the fact that it will be. There
is no room for doubt.
I hope it works is not faith. I think I will try this is not faith. Faith
is Thank you, Father, for giving me the power to overcome these demons and
impulses and # 8221.
To summarize, the 3-step process is:

Recognize when sin takes root in your heart or mind
immediately pray in the name of Jesus Christ for the spiritual armor to
repel the attack
Abundantly thank you God to answer your call and provide you the solution.

It is not easy at first to have such absolute faith & # 8230; but most
often you see the results, the more this process moves from faith to
knowledge and become a core practice in your spiritual life.
