How American Christians have been manipulated in Love Israel

Americans love Israel. Although it is not uncommon to find people of Irish
or Polish origin who like Ireland or Poland, there are millions of
Americans who love Israel, even if they have no connection with the small
country from the Middle-East. why is this the case?
Israel is a country with a clear objective

There are things to admire in Israel. The most important is the clarity of
the lens. Israel's main objective is to protect the country and its
citizens. Israelis take attacks against their people personally. In 2015,
when a terrorist stabbed two people in Jerusalem, civilians and even a beat
officer and police launched the terrorist who had already been shot. But
Americans and Europeans have been conditioned to think as atomized units,
not as one people. Terrorism is an act of war against a nation, is simply
treated a crime.
Israel's ability to put its own interests first allowed him to take
effective action to defend themselves. In 2010, Mossad assassinated a Hamas
leader in a Dubai hotel. The murder, which involved nine officers, is
something of a James Bond movie. When Israeli citizens were hijacked to
Entebbe airport in Uganda, the IDF undertook a daring raid during the night
to free the Israelis. And while the weakness of Western leaders hold hands
and mouth platitudes after each terrorist attack, Israeli leaders like
Benjamin Netanyahu are strong, confident and unabashedly pro-Israel. For
many Americans, hurray for Israel is like supporting a winning team, while
their own share of the country gives them little reason to get excited.
disordered love

The feeling that millions of Americans about Israel is much deeper than
mere admiration. It is best described as idolatry. There are several
reasons why this is idolatry.
First, Israel has a powerful political lobby, AIPAC. American Jews are
generally a great success and they use their money to support their policy,
and that includes Israel. US politicians on both sides of the aisle,
anxious to get donations, to make the best speech-Boot Licking at the
annual AIPAC conference. So it does not really if you chose a Republican or
a Democrat. You can be assured that they will ardently pro-Israel.
dispensationalism

The main reason that if Americans like Israel, even more than their own
country, not because of the work of AIPAC. Rather, it is the result of a
particular Christian heresy of heresy Dispensationalism.
Dispensationalism origin with John Nelson Darby, an English Christian
preacher who lived in the 1800s it has received great popularity, though,
thanks to the influence of the Scofield Bible. The Scofield Bible contains
dispensationalist comments by Cyrus I. Scofield (1843-1921).
There are allegations that Scofield was influenced by the Jewish Zionists.
Although Scofield was a fundamentalist preacher, he was admitted as a
member of the Lotus Club, NYC Club elite men. One member of the club board
was Wall Street lawyer Samuel Untermeyer. Author David Lutz suggests that
it could have been Untermeyer who encouraged Scofield writing his
commentary:
Untermeyer used Scofield ... to inject Zionist ideas in American
Protestantism. Untermeyer and other wealthy and influential Zionists whom
he introduced to Scofield promote and finance the career of the latter,
including travel in Europe.
What is wrong with Dispensationalism

To understand why Dispensationalism is so perverted, it is necessary to
explain what Christians believed before Dispensationalism came on the
scene. The traditional Christian theology teaches that the Christian
alliance is the "new and eternal covenant" that meets all previous
commitments, including God's covenant with Israel.
In Second Corinthians, Paul says that the old covenant "disappeared". The
Romans said that Christ is "the end of the law," meaning it was both the
goal and the end of the old covenant. Traditional theology teaches that the
Christian Church is the true continuation of Israel, Jesus is the true
Messiah and the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Old Testament Israel.
Therefore, the Church, which includes Jews and Gentile Christians is "the
Israel of God" (Gal. 6:16), not Jewish by physical descent. Let me say it
again for emphasis: the traditional Christian belief is that the Church is
the true continuation of Israel.
Thus, for 1800 years, Christians did not believe that the restoration of a
Jewish state or modern Israel. They played no role in Bible prophecy.
Dispensationalism changed that. Dispensationalists believe that the
Christian church is "Plan B" with the Church of God, God is just a
temporary pause before reaching what he really cares about Israel in the
flesh. This can be seen in the picture at the head of this section
describes three horses, two great Jewish (do not ask me why there are two)
and a small Christian. The Church that Christ died for is an afterthought.
Dispensationalism is largely a Protestant phenomenon. Most Baptist and
nondenominational churches subscribe to it, which means that most
evangelicals are dispensationalists. While the Catholic Church does not
teach dispensationalism, some Catholics have also succumbed. I had a
Catholic on Twitter block me after I told him that the modern State of
Israel plays no special role in Christian theology.
Dispensationalism in action

Dispensationalism has practical effect on how its members behave in the
real world. Dispensationalist Christians have applied the following verse
in Israel and Jews in general: "I will bless those who bless you, and
whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be
blessed "(Genesis 12: 3). In this context, the verse refers to Abraham the
patriarch, but the Christian dispensationalist take to say that anyone who
supports Jews and Israel will be blessed personally.
This type of thinking is an extremely powerful form of packaging. Everyone
wants to be personally blessed by God and here is a passage that believe
Evangelicals ensure their blessings. More realistically, it guarantees
Israel a large block of voters who always support and unflinchingly
pro-Israel policies. No other country, including wild American allies
France and Britain, have such a solid base of support.
Evangelical Christians are a powerful force in American politics if
American politicians out of their way to appeal to this fervor. During one
of the GOP debates in 2015, each of the 16 candidates mentioned Israel's
security in their closing statement. This blatant pandering caused Ann
Coulter tweet: "How f & # 8212; Jews ing these people think it is in the
US "But the candidates were not only targeting wealthy Jewish donors, but
all evangelical voters who have been programmed to support Israel.
This inordinate love of Israel is not trivial. He helped lead the United
States in dubious wars in the Middle East in Israel's favor. It has also
stimulated the development of Islamic fundamentalism and Islamic terrorism.
ISIS happened because of American support "moderate rebels" to overthrow
Syrian President Assad, an enemy of Israel. And the blind support of Israel
may eventually lead us into a war with Iran, a country that poses no
military threat to the United States.
Conclusion
I am a political realist who believes in an America First policy. As a
superpower, the United States always a complicated foreign policy. There
may be times when the interests of Israel and the United States line. In
these cases, I see no problem with the pursuit of mutually beneficial
alliance. But basing foreign policy on a heretical Christian doctrine is
not justified.
