At least 20 dead after explosion at Ariana Grande concert in Manchester in the UK

At least 20 people were killed and perhaps hundreds & # 8221; others were
injures after one or more loud bangs were heard Monday night at a concert
Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena in England, several police told NBC News.

sources of law enforcement in Britain and the United States told NBC News,
there were perhaps two explosions. There was no immediate information on
such explosions took place, and sources said that the information was
preliminary and subject to change.
Greater Manchester Police said only that there were a number of confirmed
deaths and injuries and # 8221; as hundreds of fans fled the arena.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene after the possible explosions were
reported about 10:40 p.m. (5:40 p.m. ET).

senior US intelligence that monitor several British officials told NBC News
that preliminary reports indicate that a single blast took place outside
the arena of the southwest side in front of the station. The explosion
occurred as the concert ended, catching people as they came out.
