Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein installed George W. Bush appointed
former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special advisor Wednesday to oversee
the FBI investigation of Russian interference in the presidential election
in 2016.
Because the Attorney General Jeff Sessions previously recused himself from

powers which implies, for Russia probe. As such, Rosenstein has full
authority to unilaterally take the responsibility of Mueller, who will
continue the investigation already several months without reporting the
normal chain of command of the FBI and Department of Justice.
The decision to Rosenstein came after Washington exploded in speculation
Tuesday on the New York Times that "Note Comey" showed that President
Donald Trump had hinted in a private conversation that now former FBI
Director James Comey "let go "in regards now -fired national security
adviser Michael Flynn.
Rosenstein said in the press release accompanying the appointment
that "exceptional circumstances" led to his determination that the
appointment of a special advocate was in the public interest:
My decision is not to conclude that the crimes were committed or that
justifies prosecution. I have not made such a determination. What I have
determined is that, given the particular circumstances, the public asks me
to put this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a
degree of independence from the normal chain of command.

Democratic strategists are competing to determine whether it is politically
wise to seek the removal of President Donald Trump, like a bombshell
revelation after another about his ties to Russia requires candidates to
the Senate and the House of Representatives consider the issue much earlier
than had been expected.
In a significant development, party members say they expect Democrats to
vote test public opinion on the indictment, trying to gain accurate data on
an issue that until now has not been seriously analyzed. Other strategists
say candidates and party organizations begin discussion groups on the issue.
These agents recognize that they were taken aback by the speed with which
impeachment has become a relevant issue - and are wary of political damage
that may be caused if not handled properly.
There are still 10 days before Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, some
party officials had even considered such a dramatic approach, which
happened only twice in US history.
"I mean, Jesus, it's not even Memorial Day! "Said a Democratic operative.
Only after testing the issue with the party's voters have a stronger sense
of how it should act. Click here to read the entire article.
