Most of my grandparents were born in the 30s or 40s. When I try to explain
how I do my income, they can not even come to fathom. I've accepted the
fact that they seem to think there are secrets holes, dark of the Internet
where a person with technical skills can conjure money out of thin air.
While the Internet has a wealth of new resources and tools to make money as
an entrepreneur, there is a term that is always thrown around & # 8212;
passive income.
And I am here to say loud and clear & # 8212; I hate the fucking end.
Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, there is not even such a
thing. It simply is not, from the point of view of the startup and
maintenance.
That's not to be confused with passive & # 8221 satisfactory;. The more I'm
out of my old office career, the more I think life cabins is just never
going to give many men every kind of accomplishment. After all, we were
Laboring outside and build things for our tribes as working for thousands
of years.
You don t undo thousands of years of biological programming in recent
years, since the fluorescent lights and plastic walls and windows have
become stylish.
So yes, the internet business and passive income are higher than (but not
quite feasible, especially if you are a man of the family). But the term
passive income must be debunked once and for all. That is why.
The Upfront work is huge
Part of the reason why the term has become popular because it is s sexy.
Who doesn t want to make money while they sleep, or taking a dump? Who
wouldn t want to see the dollars rolling while you're sitting on a
picturesque beach in Bali compared to one of the cabins above.
Now these things are possible. But the upstream work to get to this point
is enormous. Let s face, most people start internet businesses because they
want to (or at least want the ability) to be able to travel abroad or
travel with their newfound freedom.
And from passive income points aren t enough. You don t see digital nomads
going to live in Switzerland or London. Instead, they're flocking in Chiang
Mai, Thailand to find the best one bedroom apartment, they can rent for
somewhere between $ 200 and $ 225 per month.
Try doing an Internet business (for most people) and enough to sustain life
in the United States just isn t possible right off the bat. There's a
reason why they should escape to foreign lands. It is not only thinner and
hotter women. It's because it's impossible to live (in most places) in the
United States without having & # 8221 real work; Income. That's a
discussion for another day.
The point is, passive income becomes passive once you've put a huge amount
of work in front. Consider writing a book or creating an online course isn
t time-consuming? Think again.
It Hard To Turn Off & # 8221; Job
When your income (and therefore well-being) is directly related to your own
business and its results, it is much more difficult to step away from him
forever. It's easy to go home and forget the drudgery of office work with a
6-pack of crappy beer. You don t give a damn about this job. It's someone
else's dream, even if it's linked to your own well-being.
In general, the attitude is not to succeed and thrive in the job, but do
just enough to get by without being fired. The masses need these 6 packs of
Bud, after all.
Even when passive income work for you after work up front, it's really hard
to ignore. If you're in affiliate marketing or paid traffic, you're
constantly on the lookout for the next drought so you can react. It's hard
to resist check the statistics every minute clock. The point is, you can
and make you crazy. Every internet entrepreneur made at some point.
It's easy to say you retire after you have passive income, but nothing
could be further than the truth. I like to joke with my family that
sometimes I & # 8212; there are days I wake up with tons of new money in
the bank and I'm a bit unmotivated to create something new that day.
But there are rarely any hours that pass by when I did not think to work at
one level or another.
Nothing good ever comes to men who are passive
In other words, we live in a society full of cats. Many men do nothing to
maintain their self-appearance, marry over-the-hill-whores, and usually
have no backbone for them.
All these men are passive by nature. They are unable to muster the
confidence to go after what they really want in life. Instead, they allow
the company to impose beliefs on them. These beliefs are reflected in the
results that are mediocre at best.
By being passive, they let the good things in life pass. Instead of meeting
hot girls and young people, they date broken sluts. Instead of building a
business, they build another century. Instead of doing whatever they want
in the world, they go on holiday punch they've stuffed on a boat with a
bunch of other fat people.
The term passive income must disappear forever & # 8212; because no person
who is passive will never really be able to make money while they sleep.
Internet marketing gurus sell the dream of making a million dollars while
you sleep in a month to take their course $ 5000.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Start by making $ 100 and go from
there. Allow yourself to make mistakes, to learn and grow from them.
Needless to say there will always be a lot of pain in making something
that's worthwhile.
So while making money while you sleep sounds good, you don t child.
Eventually it will come, and you can achieve it. But there are a lot of
sleepless nights that come before him.
The feeling when you hit this point is the loss of sleep.
