Food is to make you sick?

Many people now suffer from an intolerance to gluten, a constellation of
conditions, including celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and others.
Gluten free products are now appearing on the shelves of supermarkets and
many restaurants offer gluten-free choices. Celiac disease & # 8212; one of
these conditions and # 8212; causes loose stools, oily, smelly and above;
that would ruin everyone's day.
It seems this trend is on the rise. Gluten intolerance used to be quite
rare, and I never heard until there twenty years, and rarely at the time.
Now it seems more of a trend of growing that the narrow angle glaucoma
epidemic afflicting young adults states allowing medical marijuana.
People began to eat wild grain around 20,000 BC, and began growing around
9500 BC. Agriculture is so ingrained (if you'll pardon the expression) in
our culture that's even part of a number of religions. Ishtar of the
descent into hell symbolized a mythological origin, Mysteries of Eleusis
agricultural components featured, holy communion in Christianity has
consecrated the bread and the Jews are more heavily on hardtack that even
the British navy.
Then, after tens of thousands of years, why is it that so many people are
suddenly having strange food problems? Is it just food allergies, or could
it be something more? In short, could be something going with our food
supply?
artificial chemicals

Back in ancient times, farmers would shoot to kill weeds and insects.
However, with the availability of huge combines GPS guided, labor
techniques aren t as profitable. This is especially true with the rise of
corporate farming area with the second largest Soviet collective farms.
Pesticides and herbicides have reduced the cost of food, but they can leave
residues in the final product. Wash fruits and vegetables is highly
recommended, but that doesn t get rid of all that has been absorbed by
plants in rain water. Excessive use of chemicals can pose risks to public
health.
A very common herbicide that's received some controversy is glyphosate,
sold by Monsanto Roundup. Like other herbicides, you would t want to drink
this stuff. Regarding the possible effects of glyphosate residues, a recent
study notes the following:
negative impact on the body is insidious and slowly manifest over time as
inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body. Here we show how
interfering with CYP enzymes acts synergistically with a disturbance of the
biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids by intestinal bacteria, as well as
impairment in the transport of serum sulfate. The consequences are most
diseases and conditions associated with a Western diet, which include
gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression,
autism, infertility, cancer and Alzheimer's disease. We explain the
documented effects of glyphosate and its ability to induce disease, and we
show that glyphosate is "textbook example" of semiotic exogenous entropy:
the disruption of homeostasis by environmental toxins.
If the study is right, glyphosate could be worsening the risks of things
we've always feared, and many conditions that were quite rare before the
1990s So it's just a chemical there & # 8212; who knows what others might
do?
Otherwise, genetically modified wheat that can tolerate glyphosate isn t
ready for prime time, but re working. In fact, some of these experimental
things was found by chance on a farm in Oregon. Perhaps the seeds of one of
the many test projects were jumping around.
Genetically modified maize
Even don t like aliens that stuff.
People with gluten intolerance often change to corn, but which may have its
own problems. There are many varieties of genetically modified corn, which
could contribute to the problem itself. With plants produce their own
pesticides, wash before cooking might not do much.
Previous studies on rats fed with GMO foods were highly controversial, and
has been retracted. However, late last year, it was found that delta
endotoxins aren t normally broken down by the digestive system as
previously supposed. This is produced by Monsanto's GM corn containing
genes from Bacillus thuringiensis. As the summary describes the effects on
the digestive system of rats:
Samples of fed GM-corn group show different forms of structural change. the
focal destruction and loss of the villi leaving alternately exposed mucosal
surface with laminated areas were observed, while some crypts seemed
totally disturbed. congested blood capillaries and infiltration of
mononuclear cells with focal were detected. regulation to the significant
increase in the expression of PCNA, increased number of goblet cells and a
significant increase in both villus height and crypt depth were detected.
We observed marked changes ultrastructural some enterocytes with focal loss
of microvilli border. Some enterocytes had vacuolated cytoplasm,
mitochondria swollen cristae disrupted and dilated rough endoplasmic
reticulum (RER). Some cells have dark irregular nuclei with clumped
chromatin abnormally. One might conclude that the GM-maize consumption
profoundly changes the jejunum histological structure.
Again, it was a study on rodents, and perhaps human gut can make it better.
Ultimately, time will tell; the experience is what is happening to the
public. It is possible that stuff isn t so good for us. Even consumers of
health foods may not be aware of what they're getting.
How bad can get GMOs?
News flash: some bacteria can be harmful
Previously, I thought that the controversy over GMOs has been
overestimated. However, my views have changed. It turns out that a
genetically modified version of the bacterium Klebsiella planticola was
close to production. His goal was to produce alcohol from agricultural
waste and the remains would be used for fertilizer.
Then a team of independent researchers led by Dr. Elaine Ingham conducted a
security check, discovered that this bug GM goes after the live plants and
also destroyed by producing toxic levels of alcohol. Fortunately, they saw
before this stuff came out in the biosphere. Why didn t the company's own
figure of the research department themselves what?
It was pretty basic research in the laboratory, comparing a control group
of wheat a lot infused with the natural variety of Klebsiella planticola
(no problem), and one infused with the GMO release (all faded). You d think
that the prevention of a potential global extinction event would be pretty
big news, but most people haven t heard of peace.
I'm not saying that all GMOs are bad & # 8212; Some might agree & # 8212;
but this episode shows that problems can occur and better research should
be done. When billions in profits are involved, the potential exists for a
company s researchers being pressured not to put the brakes on the project
money.
With food Falsification is more than you think

One hundred years, everything was organic. Then, in the 1920s, researchers
have developed a new food additive: hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated
oils, also called trans fats. The advantage was to produce liquid oils in
semisolid room temperature. This new vegetable fat was once considered a
healthy alternative to lard. They tested on pigs to see if they might be
fattened, but large amounts killed them. It's also seen as a preservative,
as bacteria can t live on it whatsoever, and it became widely used in junk
food. Apparently they thought it was good enough for people.
Finally, perplexed doctors about a new health problem they hadn t seen
before: the adult onset diabetes, they called Type 2 & # 8221;. The version
child original start (type 1) occurs when the pancreas stops producing
insulin. Type 2 involves insulin resistance & # 8212; there's plenty of it,
but the body becomes less sensitive. This is a common feature in the
metabolic syndrome.
It took long enough, but researchers eventually began to make the
connection. Partially hydrogenated oil molecules gift t fit into cell
membranes well and s been involved in a number of problems, including
insulin resistance. We could consider obesity as a problem caused by
gluttony and lack of discipline, but the crap in our food can play a major
role. I had my own struggles, but fortunately I did some research, got wise
and done something about it.
and finally
Not what I mean by trans fat, but I would give it a miss too
You are what you eat and # 8221; might be a corny phrase, but it is
literally true. One might think the fanatics health food as a bit stupid
and hipsterish, but they may well have a point.
