In recent years, Bob Mercer, a reclusive billionaire and co-chairman of
Renaissance hedge fund Technologies, secretly funded many right-wing
movements in the US and UK A major donor to President Donald Trump s
campaign support Brexit the Mercer family was also bankrolling both
Breitbart right media and former collaborator Milo Yiannopoulos their
foundation, the Mercer family Foundation.
A recent article BuzzFeed revealed the extent to which the Mercers were
funding and support both Breitbart and Milo. In particular, the Mercers are
so enamored of Milo that following his resignation Breitbart earlier this
year after the false news media dogpiled him as a pedophile, they helped
launch his current project, MILO Inc.
Although back of kings has no ill will toward Milo Breitbart, we believe it
is important that people know how they're funded. Milo and Breitbart are
not organic nationalist resistance, but are used to push the agenda of a
wealthy Jewish family.
Who is Bob Mercer?
Steven Bannon is closely aligned with the Mercers.
Bob Mercer is known for being intensely private and refusing to talk to
reporters, which means we can guess its ideology through the countryside
and the personalities he supports with his money. Mercer Family Foundation
has been a constant support of right-wing politicians and groups throughout
the years, including the Tea Party movement, the Club for Growth and the
Heritage Foundation.
During the 2016 presidential election, Mercer was initially a big supporter
of Ted Cruz, donated $ 11 million to a super PAC pro-Cruz. Following Cruz
withdrawal from the race, however, Mercer has changed its support for
Trump, found a super pro-Trump PAC called Make America Number One, and
played a role in securing leadership positions for Breitbart Executive
Chairman Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway within the Trump campaign and
administration.
Mercer was also a great supporter of the leave year during Brexit
referendum in the U.K. last year, the gift of the data analysis of one of
his companies U.K. Independence Party Nigel Farage ,. This greatly helped
off campaign for Leave.EU, a leading pro-leave group to target likely
supporters via Facebook highly personalized ads.
More importantly, the Mercer family are strong supporters of Israel and
Zionism. During his presidential primary campaign, Ted Cruz has made
support for Israel a major element of its platform because of money
Mercers. Similarly, Breitbart and Milo funded Mercer always pushed a vision
of the world and Zionist support for Israel the first nationalist Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition to Islamic extremism and ISIS.
Mercer Family: False Nationalists?
While Mercers contributed to help President Trump and other American
nationalists, it is clear they are not a traditionalist vision of the
world, but to push their own agenda. In particular, their continued support
of Milo Yiannopoulos, a flamboyant homosexual who boasts of having anal sex
with black men (and who recently married & # 8221, a black man in Hawaii),
is perplexing. Why fund Milo and not a genuine traditionalist voice with
less baggage?
The answer is because the Conservatives are not Mercers all. Their support
for Trump, Milo and Breitbart is because they are concerned about the state
of Israel, not America. In recent years, the left and the Democratic Party
have become increasingly anti-Israel, to the point where a Muslim
pro-Palestinian, Keith Ellison, was elected president by the DNC. The
Mercers seek to support voice and Zionist politicians to guarantee Israel's
security in the coming years.
None of this is intended as an attack against Milo Breitbart. However, fans
of one or the other must be aware that they are funded by a Jewish family
whose interests may not be the same as theirs.
