Las Vegas tragedy: Over 50 dead in the worst mass shooting in the US History

Via USA Today:
A gunman opened fire on thousands of Las Vegas Strip interference of music
lovers, killing at least 50, injuring 400 others and create chaos as
blurred panicked crowd for coverage or just ducked to avoid the onslaught
of shooting the deadliest mass in modern American history.

The massacre ended when police stormed a 32th floor hotel room overlooking
the concert and the gunman, identified as Stephen Paddock, 64, killed
himself, the Clark County Sheriff Joe said Lombardo.
 Right now we think it's a solo, a lone wolf attacker "said Lombardo. We're
pretty confident there is no longer a threat ".
Authorities closed part of the Las Vegas Strip and Interstate 15 after
receiving reports of an active shooter at Route 91 harvest festival, near
the casino Mandalay Bay, about 10:10 p.m. local time.

The White House said President Trump has been made aware of the terrible
tragedy in Las Vegas & # 8221.

Lombardo confirmed at a news conference that the gunman had shot the 32nd
floor of Mandalay Bay. Several firearms were found in the dining scene.
Paddock lived in Mesquite, Nev., A city northwest 80 miles to Las Vegas.
Lombardo said multiple shooters and explosive reports were false. Some of
those who died were police officers, he added.
Videos on social media show dodging for cover and escape gunfire rings out.
Lombardo said police believed they had arrested a person of interest, which
he named as Marilou Danley, the suspect's roommate.
He said the officers also found a Hyundai Tucson Touring Chrysler Pacifica,
both with Nevada plates, which were recorded dead suspect.
 We offer our condolences to the families who lost loved ones tonight. The
thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy, the
Department of the Metropolitan Police in Las Vegas said on Twitter.
Ivetta Saldana, who attended the party, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal,
she hid in a sewer after the shooting began.
"It was was a horror show," she said. "People were standing around, and
then they hit the ground. "
Witnesses said they saw several victims and dozens of ambulances. Some fans
huddled concerts in the basement of the hotel-casino near Tropicana.
