10 things to do on Sunday that are better than watching the NFL

Watching football on Sundays used to be something that I really enjoyed
growing up but like most things in life that has changed. The NFL today
gives me very little except that for a great precursor to a nap. With
advertisements every five minutes, now paired with an excessive amount of
replay reviews, the game had no flow for many years.
The average NFL game has only about 11 minutes of live game footage. If you
had to stay awake in fact throughout an NFL broadcast (hard to imagine, but
try your best) you spend about:

67 minutes watching the players stand around
63 minutes watching commercials
35 minutes watching pictures of coaches, fans or cheerleaders involved
between
15 minutes watching replays excessive
only 11 minutes watching the game live action

Less than 6% of your time spent sitting through a full broadcast of the NFL
imply the vision of real football, live. The vast majority of your time
will be spent watching the emissions from non-football as commercials and
people around.
The sanctions and rules are another issue ruin the league over the last
decade. The NFL has made it extremely difficult for defensive players to
actually do their job. The defenders now regularly penalized and sometimes
fined for hard hits, own on quarterbacks, receivers and running backs. This
can be frustrating especially if you're old enough to remember the NFL
before he implemented the new regulations.
Each week you will see a roughing call to go to just pat the quarterback on
the helmet, an unnecessary roughness penalty on a clean shot that makes you
shake your head or sentence defenseless receiver was clearly unavoidable. I
m all for the safety of players, but when you sign up to play football you
know the risks.
Another annoyance plaguing the league is that players now celebrate almost
every game they make. It is now an anomaly when a piece is made without
celebration after. Our famous nonsense culture and professional football is
no different. Everyone is starving for attention to whether it's offensive
or defensive player, it makes no difference, even routine items are now
celebrated with enthusiasm stupid.

For a good example of how the game was played in the past watching the
video below. In this clip, you will see the judgments of the consecutive
goal line made by a defense game in a great game. There will be little or
no celebration until final 4 to a stop. This type of attitude as a business
is rarely seen in the league today.

The NFL has been degrading for over a decade and it seems there is no
reverse this decline. Now, with the political cement the way in the league,
football on Sunday is something I can do without. The following is a list
of simple ideas for things to do on Sunday outside sitting in front of a TV
and watch football:
1. Plan your weekly meals

Free time in your upcoming work week and save you money in the process by
cooking and prepare your weekly meals on Sunday. Not only is this a good
way to save time and money, but it can be a great way to make sure you eat
healthier throughout the week.
2. Weight lifting

Instead of watching the men exercise on TV, go do some exercise yourself.
Weekends are a good time to get a specific training if you're too busy
during the week. Gyms also tend to be relatively empty Sunday afternoon,
which is a bonus.
3. Run, walk, hike or bike

Fall is a beautiful time of year to spend outdoors. Hiking, biking, go
running or even walking are all great fall activities. Leave the house,
enjoy the scenery and get outdoors a little exercise.
4. The practice a new skill or work side A Hustle

Spend your free time to learn to do something new. Practicing a new skill
can be extremely rewarding, whether it is a foreign language, a martial
art, carpentry or cooking. Start a project you have been putting off. Most
of us have an idea that we have been procrastinating on, he began to get
your next Sunday.
5. Read

Stimulate your mind instead of vegetating in front of the television. Catch
up on interesting articles you may have missed throughout the week. Open a
book and learn something new.
6. Practice game

For some reason, I noticed a number greater than the average of pretty
girls on autumn Sundays. It may just be the reports being distorted by many
men being at home watching football. Go do some shopping at your local
grocery store and work your day game.
7. Get together with a friend

With most people out of work, Sunday is a great day for relaxing with an
old friend. I try to plan Sunday meet ups a few times a month. Catching up,
enjoying a good conversation and exchange of ideas is infinitely better
than sitting in front of a TV.
8. Go on a date

I find myself doing productive work nights during the week and I'd rather
not spend a Friday or Saturday night on a date. That leaves Sunday as a
great time for programming dates, especially first dates.
9. Relax and spend time in thought

Do something you love. Drink tea, smoke a cigar, enjoy a good meal or nap.
These activities are not only relaxing but they make for great physical and
mental restoration in preparation for your upcoming week. Take it easy and
slow down a bit. Comment on things or plan your week ahead. Take a look at
your goals and processes to achieve these goals to ensure they're still in
the lineup.
10. A family meal

Get your parents, wife and children together for a meal nice family. Enjoy
the conversation and ask them how their week.
The NFL has been degrading for over a decade with all the time lost on
advertisements, excessive questionable rules, immature players and
unrestrained political commitment. It is certainly not a motivating Men
activity must spend a considerable amount of time. Do yourself a favor and
go do something more productive with your Sunday.
