A photo woman raising his middle finger to the US president Donald Trump s
motorcade was fired from her job on photography.
The picture went viral after being taken October 28 in Virginia, near the
Trump golf resort.
Juli Briskman, who was identified as the cyclist in the picture, it alleges
was shot by employers Akima LLC after posting on his online profiles. The
company did not respond to the BBC's request for comment.
Ms. Briskman now called the United States told the media in a one-day
meeting after informing their HR department, she was the subject of widely
circulated image.
She told the news site Huffington Post that the leaders had told him they
classified the picture & # 8221 immodest; or & # 8221 obscene; therefore
ruled that it violated their social media policies after she posted her
Twitter and Facebook accounts.
However Ms Briskman said she had emphasized that the management was not in
working hours when the photograph was taken and did not mention his
employers on social media pages.
Ms. Briskman also alleges a male colleague was allowed to keep his job
after deleting a post considered offensive in another incident.
It therefore questions why she was immediately fired from her role. The
50-year-old mother of two had been the government contractor firm for six
months of work in communications.
Despite the loss of her job, Ms. Briskman said she does not regret the
gesture. Somehow, I'm better than ever, she told the Huffington Post.
I m angry against which our country is currently. I am appalled. That to
me was the opportunity to say something & # 8221.
The press photographer Brendan Smialowski, told AFP the site that it was
common to see people protesting or making obscene gestures presidents as
they drove by.
He said he had been struck by the tenacity & # 8221; Ms. Briskman after
making the gesture several times and tried to catch the motorcade.
